We are lucky to be in Miami with accessibility to the beautiful tropical islands of the Caribbean. Business conversations flow like balmy sea breezes as we get to know the unique island cultures and people. Hearing a myriad of accents is an added bonus when I meet up with clients from Jamaica, Trinidad, or the Turks and Caicos. One of our most recent projects took our crews to the Bahamas, Nassau to be exact.
Island Luck, a significant gaming company in the Bahamas, launched ILTV Studio with the help of Midtown Video. Television production is a new direction for Island Luck. Now that they can televise their Quick Draw game, the first televised three-ball game in the country, they have a competitive advantage over others in the gaming industry.
Island Luck’s good fortune is spreading throughout the island nation. In the words of their CEO, Sebas Bastian, the new studio will “provide job opportunities in…production.” The company is also looking to offer internships with the Bahamas Technical and Vocational Institute (BTVI) and College of the Bahamas (COB) for students to further their education in television production.
