Job Description

The System Sales Associate is responsible for creating and maintaining relationships with clients purchasing AV System Installations  

Accountabilities may include:

  • Develop a growth strategy focused on financial gain and superior customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential new clientele.
  • Prospect and generate new business
  • Track and report prospecting and new opportunities
  • Build and maintain successful client relationships
  • Close deals with assigned leads
  • Conduct Needs Analyses – Assess, clarify, and validate client need
  • Prepare and deliver proposals to close business
  • Track and report prospecting and new opportunities
  • Track and report sales, revenue/profitability
  • Help develop marketing strategies and materials

Midtown Video will provide:

  • Competitive Salary and Commission commensurate with experience and performance
  • Training on Midtown Video sales and client management software
  • Select vendor introductions and trainings
  • System Engineering and technical support
  • Project implementation and Management
  • Backoffice support including Procurement, Credit and Billing, Shipping and Receiving, 
  • Reimbursement for approved expenses not covered by IRS as deductible home office or independent contractor expenses. 
  • A Zoom phone account, a Microsoft O365 account, and other communication tools


After a 90 day review period, Midtown Video offers full time employees 5 paid personal days and 7 paid holidays per year.  Health insurance is provided at no cost to the employee after the review period, with Dental and Vision available to purchase at a marginal rate.  Policies are also available for purchase for spouses and children.  After 1 year of employment, a SEP-IRA retirement matching program is offered, as well as additional paid vacation time in increasing amounts with tenure at the company.
