The Canon EOS 5D Mark II improves upon the EOS 5D by increasing the resolution by about 40% to 21.1 megapixels and adds a Live View feature that allows users to preview shots on the camera's high resolution 3.0" LCD display. It even incorporates the ability to record full motion HD Video with sound, so you can capture the action as well as superb images.

Rental Includes
Your choice of one lens:
EF 16-35mm f/2.8L II USM Autofocus Lens
EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM Autofocus Lens
EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM Telephoto Zoom Lens

21.1 Megapixel Full-frame CMOS Sensor
Developed by Canon, the high-resolution, 35mm full-frame CMOS image sensor incorporated into the EOS 5D Mark II sets the standard for its class, featuring a remarkable 21.1 million effective pixels for a maximum recorded resolution of 5616 x 3744 pixels. And since the image sensor is full-frame, all lenses used with the camera provide the angle of view that was intended by the manufacturer - this is of particular importance for photographers that often use wide-angle lenses and other specialty lenses.

DIGIC 4 Image Processor
DIGIC 4 is Canon's latest advanced imaging processor that transforms data from the large CMOS sensor at extremely high speed for photos of exceptional quality and definition. This accelerated performance contributes to highly responsive and user-friendly operation, including a fast continuous shooting speed. The DIGIC 4 processor also enables a number of processor intensive operations like Face Detection Live mode, HD video recording and lighting and lens peripheral optimization.

Live View Function
The Live View Function on the EOS 5D Mark II provides users with a convenient way to frame images, by allowing for the cameras 3.0" LCD display to be used as a viewfinder - bringing a powerful feature from the compact camera world to the professional digital SLR. Live View is particularly useful when shooting at odd angles or when doing macro photography. The Live View feature also enables the ability to zoom in and navigate the composition 5x or 10x normal size; there is even a grid overlay feature to aid in the composition of your images. This feature also enables the Live View focusing modes which include the Quick mode, Live mode and Face Detection Live mode.

Record HD Video
The EOS 5D Mark II is unusual among SLR digital cameras in that it is capable of recording full HD video, and it's the cameras Live View function that makes it possible. You'll record video clips in full High-Definition with 1080p image quality and a capture frame rate of 30 fps with sound. Users can even attach an external microphone for recording professional-quality audio with the video, and all Live View AF features can be used when the camera is shooting video. Furthermore, users can play back video clips on a HDTV display in full HD quality with the camera's HDMI Video output (optional cable required).

9-Point AF Sensor Array
The newly developed 9-point AF sensor with 6 Assist AF points provides speedy and precise focus detection plus enlarged subject coverage. With an extra 6 AF assist points added to the spot metering circle, the EOS 5D enables highly detailed focusing around the center of an image in AI Servo AF mode. Of the 9 primary AF points, the high-precision cross-type center AF point is compatible with f/2.8 and f/5.6 lenses, while 8 sensors are sensitive to f/5.6. Upper and lower central points, 2 of the 6 Assist AF points, are also f/2.8 and f/5.6 compatible. All focusing points are configured for quick focus in any shooting situation.

Durable Shutter
An extremely fast, highly durable shutter unit has been especially developed to match the EOS 5D mark II's full-frame 35mm CMOS sensor. The high-torque shutter-cocking mechanism is rated to 150,000 shots, attaining speeds from 1/8000 sec. to 30 sec. and bulb. The unit's flash synchronization (X-sync) function uses an optically detected, contactless switch instead of a mechanical one, which contributes to high durability and reliability when a Speedlite is used and yields an X-sync shutter speed of 1/200 sec.

3.0-Inch High-Resolution LCD Screen
The 3.0-inch TFT color LCD monitor has 920,000 (VGA) pixels allows users to scrutinize the finest details of their images either during Live View previews or when reviewing images after the shoot. The display is treated with an anti-reflection and water-repellant coating that provides a clear, smudge-resistant surface and incorporates a light sensor for automatic brightness adjustment in accordance with ambient light. Users can clearly view graphics and text on the screen and it provides easy-to-read menus, a full-featured info screen complete with RGB histogram and AF frame displays, and the ability of users to enlarge images right after shooting.

3.9 Frames-per-Second (fps) Shooting
Driven by the advanced DIGIC 4 imaging engine, the EOS 5D Mark II achieves a remarkable 3.9 fps consecutive shooting speed during maximum bursts of 78 shots for Large/Fine JPEG shots (13 shots for RAW images). For rare photo opportunities, the amazingly quick startup and short shutter release time lag will also help you capture the moment without delay.

Compatible With Over 60 Canon EF Lenses
The EOS 5D Mark II is compatible with all Canon lenses in the EF lineup (except EF-S lenses), ranging from 14mm Ultra-Wide to 600mm Super Telephoto lenses. The EF lineup employs advanced optical know-how and sub-micron precision engineering to deliver unprecedented performance in all facets of the photographic process. Aspherical optics and fluorite elements, for example, are featured in the universally acclaimed L-series lenses while Canon's Image Stabilization feature minimizes the effect of camera shake.

Lens Peripheral Illumination Correction
Canon's exclusive Lens Peripheral Illumination Correction function corrects for light falloff at the corners of the frame for evenly illuminated images. The camera automatically loads this correction data for many of canon's lenses and correction information can be entered manually through the included Canon EOS Utility software when using lenses that cannot be automatically corrected for.

Flash Photography Features
The EOS 5D mark II features Canon's E-TTL II flash metering system, which provides consistently accurate flash exposure from shot to shot. Canon's Speedlite 580EX and 430EX are perfectly suited to the EOS 5D. They include an AF-Assist Beam, which works in conjunction with the EOS 5D's focusing system and automatically sends color temperature information to the camera when the flash fires, for more accurate color rendition with flash photography.

Solid Construction and Sophisticated Design
Highly durable yet elegantly refined, the body of the EOS 5D Mark II can be handled with remarkable ease. It features a highly rigid magnesium alloy exterior (including the Battery Grip BG-E6), a solid stainless-steel internal chassis, and a mirror box of high-strength engineering plastic. Balance is effortlessly maintained from the redesigned grip to the top of a Speedlite flash unit. With a front groove on the grip for the middle finger to the enhanced metallic feel of the Mode Dial, this camera assures greater stability at every point.

Zacuto's Z-Finder optical viewfinder is just the tool you'll need for shooting professional video on the Canon 7D, 5D MkII, the Nikon D90, D300s and other DSLRs with 3" LCD screens. Whether shooting handheld or on a tripod, the Z-Finder turns your camera's LCD into a clear, easy-to-focus viewfinder that lets you see your image in magnified detail even under the brightest sunlight. Just as crucially, the Z-Finder provides that extra degree of handling comfort and point of contact--between the camera and your eye--that adds stability to any handheld video.

Now in Version 2, this Z-Finder replaces the original Velcro attachment with a flat, stick-on frame that attaches around your camera's LCD screen, which the Z-Finder snaps onto ("z-bands" available upon request for added stability). Along with its sturdy new design, the V2 adds a convenient lanyard hook that lets you keep the Z-Finder around your neck when detached from the camera.

*If renting the Z-Finder for use on your own camera, it is required that you buy a mounting frame for $10

The Chrosziel 203-01 is a follow focus designed for film and video cameras. The unique system allows easy operation from both sides, making it highly accessible in a variety of situations. The follow focus makes critical focus pulling a breeze.

Markings on the focus wheel give about 110-140 degrees of rotation on the lens, spreading the angle to the focus knob by a factor of two. Precision focus pulling cannot only be achieved with remarkable accuracy; it can also be recreated over and over with very little deviation from take to take. The kit comes with all necessary parts, including a removable hand wheel, focus level, and wheel scale.

- Dual-Wheel Compatible
The 203-01 can be fitted with a focus knob on both sides, giving the system added flexibility. No matter what the environment, the camera lens will be fully accessible to the operator.

*This kit includes the Canon Zoom EF 16-35mm f/2.8L II USM Autofocus Lens.
Other lenses available upon request

Highlights:
- 18.0 Megapixels
- 3.0" LCD
- HD Video Recording
- Selectable Video Exposure + Frame Rates
- Dust & Weather Resistant
- 100% Viewfinder
- Self Cleaning Sensor
- High Sensitivity (ISO 12800)
- 8fps Burst Mode

The Canon 7D boasts the latest high performance photo and video imaging capabilities for professionals and discerning image makers alike. An 18 megapixel APS-C format CMOS sensor coupled with Dual DIGIC 4 Image Processors enables fast, 8 frames per second shooting and expanded ISO 100-12800 sensitivity without compromising quality. True 1080p HD video can be recorded at either 24 or 30 frames per second for a smooth, cinematic effect. 720p and SD video are captured at either 50 or 60 frames per second, offering a superior method to capture motion. An integrated mono microphone records spontaneous audio with video, while a 3.5mm stereo input offers higher quality options for professional applications.

The 7D's all new, all cross-type, 19 point autofocus system features 5 user-selectable focusing modes. All focus points can be selected automatically or manually and programmed for priority based on the portrait or landscape orientation of the camera. Canon's latest iFCL (Intelligent Focus Color Luminosity) Metering System utilizes all 19 AF points, 63 zones, and a dual layer color sensor to analyze shooting conditions and optimize exposure.

Large and bright, the EOS 7D's Intelligent Viewfinder offers 100% viewing of the total image area and features a transparent LCD overlay to show user-selected AF points/modes, a spot metering circle, and on-demand grid lines. In addition to the optical viewfinder, Live View mode allows users to compose photos and video on the 3.0", 920,000-dot rear LCD screen. A new Dual Axis Electronic Level provides a reference to adjust the roll and pitch of the camera in 1 degree increments using the viewfinder or LCD.

Additional features include environmentally sealed magnesium-alloy construction, an integrated sensor cleaning system, 150,000 exposure shutter rating, and wireless TTL control of Canon EX-series Speedlite Flashes. With all this and more, the Canon EOS 7D represents the next generation of professional EOS photo and video imaging.

Advanced Movie Mode with Manual Exposure Control and Selectable Frame Rates
The EOS 7D offers the enhanced image quality, smooth frame rates and adaptive exposure compensation necessary in a professional movie-making tool. By shooting video with a large sensor camera, it's simple to take advantage of the image characteristics intrinsic to SLR photography and not necessarily to video cameras.

In addition to a number of different recording size and frame rate modes, the EOS 7D enables easy manual control of exposure, focus and Live View features and even allows for in-camera editing. The large CMOS sensor and compatibility with over 60 lenses provide a wealth of depth-of-field options. And it's all as easy as the press of a button - the EOS 7D has a dedicated Live View/Movie Recording lever with a start/stop button that gets the shooting started fast.

Full HD Video is captured at 1920 x 1080 resolution at 30p (29.97), 24p (23.976) or 25p frames per second, for up to 4GB per clip. Movies are saved as .MOV files and can be viewed in Full HD with HDMI output. Other recording sizes include HD at 1280 x 720 (50p / 60p (59.94) fps) or SD/VGA at 640 x 480 (50p / 60p (59.94) fps).
